Description of SunChemical Streamline 902 UV

SunChemical Streamline 902 UV is a series of industrial UV inks for wide-format roll-to-roll UV printers from Matan and Uvistar.

The inks are designed for high-speed printing on flexible roll media used in the production of outdoor and indoor advertising. Streamline 902 UV provides stable ink delivery, precise drop jetting, a wide colour gamut and high flexibility of the finished print.

Thanks to their high flexibility, the inks are well suited for banner materials, PVC films, self-adhesive films, backlit, mesh and other roll media compatible with UV printing.

Finished prints can be used both indoors and outdoors. The inks are suitable for curing with mercury UV lamps or LED lamps.

Applications

Outdoor advertising — banners, facade graphics, signs, advertising structures and branded surfaces.

Indoor advertising — posters, POS materials, displays, retail decoration and exhibition stands.

Streamline 902 UV inks are intended for printing on various flexible materials suitable for UV printing:

Before production printing, it is recommended to test adhesion, flexibility and curing on the specific material.

This is a specialised ink series for roll-to-roll UV printing on flexible materials. For use with other printer models, it is recommended to check the compatibility of the ink delivery system, printheads, curing lamps and print profiles in advance.

Curing

Streamline 902 UV inks are suitable for curing with both mercury UV lamps and LED lamps.

Curing parameters depend on the printer model, lamp type, print speed, ink layer thickness and material. For stable results, it is important to correctly adjust lamp power, print mode and ICC profile.

Flushing and Conversion to Streamline 902 UV

When converting to Streamline 902 UV inks, Sun Chemical conversion guidelines should be followed.

Only recommended Sun Chemical flushing fluids should be used for flushing. Residues of flushing fluid in the system may affect curing quality, so after flushing the system should be thoroughly purged with ink until all remaining flush fluid is completely removed.

Operating and Storage Conditions

Recommended operating conditions:

room temperature: 20–25 °C;
relative humidity: 30–50%.

Maintaining these conditions helps keep ink viscosity stable, ensures even ink delivery and supports accurate drop jetting during printing.

Store the inks at a temperature from +5 °C to +25 °C, in closed packaging, away from direct sunlight.

Shelf life: 12 months from the date of manufacture.
