Streamline ESL2 is a professional low odour eco-solvent ink series developed for Roland wide-format printers designed for Roland Eco-Sol Max 2 inks. The inks provide high print quality, vivid colors, and reliable printer performance even in demanding production environments.

The ESL2 series is specially formulated for comfortable use in indoor and office-type environments due to its significantly reduced odour level.

OUTDOOR WEATHER RESISTANCE

To achieve high weather resistance and an extended color gamut, premium-quality pigments are used. Lightfastness was tested in accelerated weathering conditions using a xenon weatherometer according to SAEJ1960 standards.

In Climate Zone 1 (UK-type climate), outdoor durability without lamination or protective coating can reach up to 36 months.

CHEMICAL AND ABRASION RESISTANCE

SunChemical ESL2 inks offer high resistance to alcohols, gasoline, and mechanical abrasion.

For maximum print durability, additional lamination or protective coating with Polyplast PY383 series varnish is recommended.

PLASTICS AND MEDIA

The inks are suitable for printing on a wide range of materials:

• other media for indoor and outdoor advertising applications.

Some plastics may contain plasticizers or oily substances that can affect ink adhesion. For maximum image durability, pre-cleaning the surface with white spirit is recommended.

DRYING PERFORMANCE

SunChemical ESL2 formulation provides fast drying on coated and uncoated media commonly used in wide-format and advertising printing.

Drying speed depends on:

• media type;
• ink layer thickness;
• temperature and humidity;
• printing speed and printer settings.

PRINTHEAD WARRANTY

SunChemical guarantees full compatibility of ESL2 inks with ink delivery systems and printheads when storage and operating conditions are properly followed.

If laboratory analysis confirms printhead damage caused by the ink, the manufacturer will compensate for replacement according to warranty terms.

STORAGE CONDITIONS AND SAFETY

For maximum shelf life, inks should be stored:

• in a dry place away from direct sunlight;
• at temperatures between +5°C and +30°C;
• at humidity levels of 40–80% non-condensing.

Shelf life is up to 18 months from the production date.

Recommended operating temperature

+18°C … +25°C.

After opening, the ink is recommended to be used within 45 days.

Safety precautions

• do not ingest;
• avoid contact with eyes and skin;
• in case of skin contact, wash with soap and water.
